Tips On How to Be Famous on Steemit
Just to be clear, I'm not an expert or famous on steemit yet. For all I know, I have been extremely lucky and I'm just in the right place at the right time. With two months experience on steemit, I have learnt that these tips are vital if you want to be famous on Steemit
1. Post Great Content
What is the best way to get upvote on Steemit? Create insightful, unique and compelling content that people will love, upvote and resteemed.
2. Use Relevant Tags
The tags will help other steemians find your post, so all your five tags should be relevant to the content of the post.
3. Make Sure Your Content Is Resteemable
Getting your post go viral on steemit requires a blend of top-notch content, responsive audience and serious content promotion skills. It is rare for an unknown steemian to come up with a genius post and have it hit the mainstream, but give it a try and post contents that can be resteemed.
4. Use Images.
Make your post captivating with Images.
5. Follow, Upvote, Comment And Resteem Posts Of Other People
Be sure to upvote, comment and resteemed post of others, if you do that, it will bring you out for more people to see your profile.
Please do not be rude, just put nice great comment that will make you friends. Avoid bursts, and keep the followers you have.
6. You Need To Post Regularly.
Try and stay active by posting at least once a day
7. Use Steemit Upvote Bots
This is for newbies like me, don’t think steemit upvote bots like @booster, @randowhale are useless.
Boosting a post incrementally expands your reach.
Great post, upvoted and resteemed. @booster seems to be not effective at all, it returning half of the value (0.27 vs 0.5). If you count curation, then it is will be around 0.22. I recommend not to use booster right now due to high count of bidding. However, @randowhale is quite effective, since it has halved the cost from 1 SBD to 0.5 sbd.

hey @lasseehlers - while I love EMB ... I don't like this intrusive advertising! it seems spammish - especially on a well thought out post by @evelyniroh.
Lot's of great points here! I especially agree with the "re-steem-ability" of posts. it's similar to virality, it's gotta be sticky as well as good content.
