It's Time To Accumulate STEEM!

in #steem6 years ago

Many of us from 2016 have seen the lows of 2017 where many of stayed active and kept accumulating STEEM when many others gave up and left. It allowed those of us who stayed put to accumulate more STEEM. Either via posting regularly as well as buying in.

STEEM is currently trading below $1 and if the markets continue to fall then we're likely to remain there for sometime to come. However, this presents a rare opportunity for everyone to buy STEEM while it's available at discounted prices.

Considering we were at $4 about 3 months ago $0.95-$0.98 is a good range. However since the price is below $1 we'll get more STEEM on our posts. I still remember the day when the feed price was around $0.07-$0.08 and earning a ton of STEEM on my post last year. It allowed many of us early adopters to increase our stake on the blockchain.

When the prices go up we all benefitted. Ofcourse many of us are still around and hodling STEEM which is good.

If you are investing in new technology that is seeing active development then it's worth holding your stake in it for the long haul and play a long game. In the past two years we've witnessed many ups and downs. I'm sure we will see the market make many such moves in the future as well.

STEEM is one of the best blockchain technologies out there and also one of the most used in the world. In the meantime it doesn't harm anyone from buying into STEEM and powering up and the prices are quite low now.

As much as we want it to go high, the market moves at its own pace. So sit back, relax, create content, curate content and promote Steem blockchain to your friends and family. Educate them on why it's worth signing up for an account here and using it.

Good luck to you!

The real tragedy of the crypto crash has been altcoins. I think it's reasonable for bitcoin to have a 70% correction and that's fine but many altcoins like steem have had a 90% correction, it's just insane!

They also had a 500% increase.

A 90% decrease would require a 900% gain to reach its ath

Steem has corrected over 800% from the top actually but it also went 120x from it's last year's bottom. But yes alt coins are bleeding badly now.

a 100% decline would equal 0 lol So 800% would be - alot, but ya i know what you mean :)

What all of us need to realise is that STEEM is as much a software product as it is a currency .So far , we have only seen the proof of concept and as it usual for SW companies it takes 3-5 year to have a full fledged product.

Having said that ,if someone doesn't buy STEEM now , I wonder why are they even wasting their time on this platform ?

Burn that FIAT

Minus any funniness from the new exchanges it's been recently listed on, and accommodating for how much estimated cash flowed into the market, it's realistic to think that steem could go to a ~20 cent or so price level.

Well said. It's getting cheaper by the day with the dips in the market. Good time to enter.

TO be very honest being in crypto space .. its nothing called perfect time by seeeing current market situation ..

we can only say a best time and there are some positive updates are expected to come from project .. else any coin can keep dropping so yes one can start buy small quantities and keep accumulating on further drop or raise

that's the way to do it. keep accumulating at dips.

The beauty of Steem is that you can forget about the financial part of the service and focus on the social one. Doing so lets you stay away from market ups and downs and just keep adding value to your account. As time goes by the currency will eventually increase its value and your account will be worth much more.

true that! :)

How to buy steem in India now as Indian exchanges stopped accepting deposits.

P2P options are available for you to buy cryptocurrencies. Use any of the exchanges like Koinex to buy cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or eth and convert them to Steem via @blocktrades.

Use P2P exchanges such as wazirX. I did a post on it about couple of weeks back including how to use paytm and other upi for the same. See if you find it helpful.

lookup P2P exchange posts in @firepower 's previous posts...

Use koinex or wazirx for p2p and buy.

Thanks for your suggestions 😊

Steem and Steemit keep chugging along, making more progress over the long term than it loses in the near. People keep forgetting that this tech is new. Steem is only in its third year.

It's hard to wait for those of us here on the ground floor, but there's good reason to believe that our patience will be rewarded.

yes,

Steem seems a good buy at current prices.

Good time to stay calm and accumulate. Investors can invest to increase their stake. Thoigh i am not investor still trying to remain active and post whatever comes to get some steem. ....

It is a great opportunity. When I joined steemit, the price was really high. I used to think that I was unlucky to not have been here when the price was below 1$. Now the opportunity is knocking our door. I have bought a few Steem. Let's hope for the best in the coming months.

It is a good opportunity to buy Steem at the moment, but can only hope that the market recovers soon :(
