So for those of you who have been around Steemit for a while you may have heard about a very useful website called SteemAuto You can use this website to set up automatic voting and curation for any account on Steemit, which will then increase your curation rewards gradually over time.
I had actually heard about SteemAuto pretty early on into joining Steemit, but for whatever reason I just never got around to checking it out until recently. Their site is quite simple and easy to use. They even utilize SteemConnect to manage passwords for logging in. This makes them much more trustworthy and even easier to login.
I had already using been their service over the past couple of months to follow my friend's curation trail and have been earning roughly 0.3SP per week passively upvoting posts on their trail at a 10% voting weight. I just upped my voting weight to 20% to see if that will have an effect on rewards. Voting on curation trails is just one way to automate your vote using SteemAuto however.
You can also take advantage of their "Fanbase" feature and automatically upvote your favorite authors at whatever voting weight you want. The default vote is set to 100% and up to five posts per day so be aware of that if don't want to deplete your VP completely. For the purpose of this post I have signed up for several of my favorite authors at 10% weight up to 5 times per day and others that post less often at higher voting weights, just to see what will happen. I imagine my VP will be depleted rather quickly so I may have to adjust these percentages over the next few days.
Other features include automated posting so you can schedule posts ahead of time and a tool that claims your wallet rewards for you every two hours so you don't have to keep up with that either!

Steemauto's a great tool - it would be hard to manage large groups on steem without it.
It is a blessing how many smart developers we have on this blockchain!
on the accounts that are not trails you should be 12 min instead of zero
Ehh this is all just an experiment :P
just remember when you vote early all curation goes to the reward pool. 12 min is perfect for people that always get good post payouts. So basically 12-15 min is the sweet spot.
I reset all of my votes to hit at 12 minutes now, I see what you're saying.
