Steem-engine is the break point for Steem and Steemit?
Dear steem-bountiers
i just discover this site which is making me very curious.
We was talking very much during past months about the development of Steemit with something like advertise or SMT.
Coming from Steemit Inc. there is nothing new, except that Ned decided to hire a new person as filter for the bad words from many users he got after the tragical 2018.
What i would like to understand is SMT are legit or not in Steem blockchain?
Why this new service coming out without a decent presentation from Steemit chiefs?
As you know i already setup my company coins into Waves Dex platform, but i would like to know what will happen to the tokens, after pay 100 Steem to build it?
Is it something legit or a kind of scam?
Do you know how much i am sensitive about scam and other shit in this crypto world...

So the aim is to be able to create tokens on the steem blockchain just like ERC-20 tokens on Etheruem. They will be building a DEX (decentralised exchange) to allow users to trade tokens.
The smart contracts will also open up a range of new uses and dapps can integrate with one another seamlessly
Hopefully it all works out

I hope you don't mind this little bit off-topic comment. Perhaps you know already, that I will be heading to europe soon and I realized that I may be quite busy catching up with Polish family once I see them again.
So I figured that I will extend all delegations for another 1 month (until end of march 2019). Just wanted to let you know :)

It's a solid project and they are making things much easier for developers by taking care of most of the heavy lifting. Any DAPP project can be integrated using their JavaScript library and they are making a sidechain which should take off a lot of the load on STEEM blockchain making it grow slower.
They might even release the product before SMTs. On the bright side @steemitblog said this:

SMTs are real, they will just make it much easier for non developers to make tokens for whatever reason. Those tokens will run on steem the way erc20 tokens run on Ethereum. Hopefully it will drive demand

Dear @christinelook, if i would know it i would make an explanation post, but to me is not at all clear what for i should spend 100 Steem to make something is not yet legit in Steemit...:(((
Hello @intellihandling, this is the first time that I have learned of such a thing. I am going to re steem it.
I think Steem engine is a great tool for token creation on the Steem blockchain. It might only get to be very popular when SMT is finally launched as many platforms and communities might fancy using to create tokens for SMT purposes.
