For Steem the currency scaling is going to be it's most important feature and selling point in the next year or two.
If it can keep 0 fees and almost instantaneous transactions the only thing from keeping it being a "real world" currency will be price stability.
I think we need to wait for SMT's to be launched, before we see any big movements in price.

Nope, they do realize the spam and plagiarism transections on steem. That's why steem isn't getting any good investments. And the main node slowing down because of spam doesn't help either.

It's only the beginning, any decentralized platform is going to have the same issues. Give it time I believe they'll find a solution to the crappy comments.

Ethereum is surely going to rise in value as the number of ico's is growing rapidly
I thought BTS was #1, but Steemit makes sense. And yeah, it's kinda funny (and sad) when you see BTC and ETH having such a high market cap compared to Steemit and BTS ^^
