Journey to 100k Steem Power | My SP is Up 31% This Week and I'm About to Hit 1,000 Followers! | Thank You!!
Hey everyone, a few weeks ago I decided to start this series where I track my main goal of reaching 100k Steem Power by the end of 2018 along with a few other goals I have as well. I was originally going to do this every week, but with so many things changing so rapidly in the crypto space and elsewhere, I'm thinking of making this a more regular update - probably every 2-3 days.
My vested Steem Power is up 31% this week and I just hit 900 followers this morning! Thank you all so much for your support, this wouldn't be possible without all of you!!
I hope I can inspire some of you to make some audacious goals of your own for your life & Steem adventures and I also hope you share your progress with me! ~ New ~ Real Estate Project Goals
This is a new section I recently decided to add. I just recently started sharing the Brunner project with all of you and that's the my first renovation project of 2018! The work is already underway and I'm expecting the renovation to be complete in the next 4 weeks! The house will then go on the market and then hopefully be sold by May of 2018!
Last year, I completed 2 real estate projects. This year I'm hoping to triple that and complete 6 projects. My ability to do so many more projects is due, in large part, to my success in cryptocurrencies and on Steemit. Thank you all for your continued support and I hope to find ways to get you all involved in the process of real estate design, investing, etc.!!!

We did dolphin day one and it was kind of what you do already like explore tags you are interested it, find followers, use steemtools. I made a post about it. @markrmorrisjr has been around Steemit a lot longer than us so I figure there must be something I will learn. I'll keep you posted.
It's hard for me to accomplish my goals on steemit because of the low bandwidth limit for new accounts. 90% of the time I can't post or comment. Someone was even nice enough to deligate me 20 steem power yesterday, and I power up everything I make, but I still am having a hard time. I'll be happy to gain at least 300 followers a month organically. I think 50,000 in steempower with $0 invested is my goal by the end of the year. I'm a bit different than most people so my personal goal for the year is to find my first gold nugget prospecting. Hope you achieve all your real estate and steemit goals. Congrats on the almost 1000 followers.
Hey @dirtyhippie! I've heard a few others talking about the bandwidth issue as well. I think it's due to the large number of people making new accounts and the insanely fast growth that Steem is seeing. The best solution, in my opinion, is to invest a little money to get started. I'm not sure on the exact numbers, but someone mentioned to me that $40 did the trick for them. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply I wasn't aware that may be the cause. I appreciate your advise. I need to list a few pieces of jewelry and such on steembay so I can grow my steempower that way.

Currently at roughly 460SP, shooting for 5000 by years end, at 290ish followers and shooting for 2000 by years end!
I also want to get back in shape and start doing work I'm passionate about. Steemit has been a good start :)

My original goal was to pay my rent with proceeds from Steemit. This is still my goal but sometimes we need a course correction. Initially I thought just getting a SP delegation would do it. I have that now but it isn't going to generate the profits I was hoping for did to the dramatically increased renewal price.
I am now going to have to increase my efforts in getting to know people in the community. More work but better in the long run!

Yes @sequentialvibe, the extension cost has become very high!! Last month I timed my extensions when the price of STEEM fell to around $3.20 and that helped a lot.
Increasing your own SP is the best way to have a secure income from Steem, it's a longer route, but much more rewarding in the end!

Still working up my way to 10k SP. Slowly but surely. Probably gonna lease some soon. Hopefully blocktrades can offer delegation soon.
Followers at around 440+ now, so I'm very happy about that. Hoping to reach 700 in February.
Real estate for me no where near anything yet. But definitely brewing in my mind :)
Hey @danielwong! Thanks for sharing your goals! I just saw a recent update from Blocktrades today that they are planning on releasing the delegations again "sometime in the next 2 weeks". I'm excited for them to reopen as well!

My goals! Hmmmm... Right now I'm just focusing on Promoting Steemit, Registering Newbies and Having ENOUGH SP to support these Newbie either by Delegations or by Personal investment in Steem. Thank you! I can't say I have any specific targets currently. I think you may have been the one that told me I should actually have targets before! Really I just plan on using all my SBD and Steem towards powering up for a long time. No plans to cash out some of my earned SBD anytime soon. Eventually I may take some small dividends, but not until I have a TON of Steem Power where I can really curate more and help people out with bigger upvotes :).
That's a great target - to focus on increasing your SP is a very powerful way to grow and earn on this amazing platform. I recommend making a specific number of SP that you're looking to hit. I find goals to be much easier and more satisfying to accomplish when there is a specific timeline and specific amount attached!!! Totally, focusing on growing SP is a great way to make sure you're on the right path. It's going to continue to get harder and harder to make SP as time goes on

Congratulation man, I can see you are making some progress with respect to the goals you set at the beginning of the year. It's one thing to set goals, it's another thing to hit them, i will go back to my goals and check my progress so far.

Great work, i want to do the same thing you did, my only problem is the damn bandwidth issues minnows get now... but im sure with time and patience i will get to 1k followers too
Thanks! Yeah the easiest method I can think of to fix the bandwidth issue is to just buy and power up alittle steem. @mineopoly also gave some great tips here!
The problem is that even without using steemit i can get negative bandwidth just because the network is full... negative ! i went to bed yesterday without bandwidth and woke up without bandwidth, luckly it seems that it's getting better, probably ppl leaving because of the bandwidth issue, i dont mind, i keep posting and getting more sp, sooner or later i will have bandwidth all day, perseverance and consistency
Bandwith tip one: Vote only a percentage and wait a couple hours beteen each vote. Use something like busy.org that offers a slider. Don't collect your rewards at one time. Let them pile up. It takes bandwith when we collect curation rewards. Don't resteem too much and don't follow too much. One of my problems when I started was following everybody. This takes bandwith too. Look at their blog first. If you like it then follow. And the easy solution is buy some Steem and power up.
congratulations i think you achive this putting ur effort on this platform.its not an easy achive any gole easily we have to make a plan nd work hard on that. after that it can b possible i think! im i right?
