Love what you're doing for Steemit. I'm surprised the mainstream media hasn't picked up on it yet - I do expect it to go viral at some point. I'm sure many won't believe their ears - as you found out - but they will be impressed in the end. :)
problem here, if the media, expecially italian ones, would talk of something like crypto, nobody would understand them, that's why they won't talk about it until more than many uses it.
What's mainstream now on italian tv? the massive usage of Pokemon Go and their disadvantages. They talked about bitcoin long time ago for like 10 minutes like 2 yrs ago. Now I highly doubt they will talk of steem. Italy would run to tax ur profits. like instantly, every form of income where they can earn a big slice of % they will make a new law for that.
Believe me, if people find out they can make money, they will learn about whatever it is that is necessary. :)
But yes, Steemit.com has to become a lot simpler before the mainstream picks it up.
