Let's hope more and more people start (or restart) getting enthused about this platform.
I remember when I started out here about 2 years ago, there was plenty of excitement, and few Steemians were lacking in motivation. Now, it seems as though many have essentially given up. Which is strange, as neither the Steemit platform nor Steem have given us any reason to despair.
The platform remains strong and vibrant. The price of Steem may have dropped precipitously, but as you say, that's nothing more than a reflection of the entire crypto-sphere.
