2018: From The Highest To The Lowest, 2019 – Forward : Steem Will Flying High

In the beginning of 2018, the price of Steem in the market is very high. It is even much higher than everyone ever expected. A lot people join and try to get Steem as much as possible and with high expectation, they did everything to promote Steem. But, it did not take too long, Steem price was down, and even continue to drop to the lowest. A lot of Steemian run away, they even cursed and quit from anything related to blockhain. It is a proof that actually we still do not understand that much about blockchain technology, we don’t even really sure why we have Steem Blockchain Technology and Steemit. We are still in the process of learning, but we can not stop the changes that is happening. Changes is coming, no matter what happened. None could end blockchain technology to develop.

This world is changing, not only because of the existence of new technology such as AI, Bigdata, and Blockchain. This changes is happening because this world is already tired with the system that failed to create a better world for all of us. Since the end of Cold War, there were a lot of speculations about what will happened next, and I think this world is still trying to find the right answer. No politics and economic theories that one hundred percent correct, especially when we are talking about its implementations. In fact, we are facing the end of democracy because there is no democracy when we are ruled by centralized system that have too much power and corrupts. No wonder if there are a lot of movements and turmoil around the world that against the tyranny of government and those too much powerful organizations/people. We are tired, we need those changes. We deserve to get a better life and future.

Pro and cont about the usage and development of technology itself in some degree is still continue. We need privacy but we also need transparency. We need freedom, but we still have rules and regulations. We have too those who have too much power, but we want to have the power and being powerful. We don’t like those richest but we always want more money. We said we support democracy but we don’t like and accusing people who have different opinion. We want to have a new economic system, we want decentralized economic system. But in fact we don’t want to support and bring value to the system. We just want to get easy and a lot of money from Steem! Some even willing to beg with a lot of excuses just to get upvotes and blamed those who are not willing to give upvotes, as they are the evil one. What a wonderful world, isn’t it?!

We just have to admit that we made a lot of mistakes in 2018 and before. This is the only way that we can learn from our mistakes and move forward to be better. We should not blame Steem for not doing “enough” for all of us to develop or to give us a better price. What happened to Steem price is not just a matter of the failure of blockchain technology, but there are a lot of other factors including ourselves. We have to take a look at ourselves in the mirror, what have we done to help Steem to grow and get a better value? Promoting Steem to other people is good, but that was not enough. We need to create lot more programs and bring more investors to develop Steem.

In a lot of ways, Steem is having a good system that could help blockchain technology and its community to grow. Steemit as the first social media that uses steem blockchain technology is providing a lot of opportunity for us and everyone in this world to grow together. Steemit is a great place to have a large amount of community from all over the world that can work together to the point where we can have true democracy, transparency, and a better economic system. In the future, it is not politics and economics that will control this world, but technology that could help all citizen of this world to get balance of justice, freedom, democracy, and humanity. Not all technology could provide those needs, algorythym might create the smartest robot in the world, but robot will never have ability to have wisdom of justice and humanity. Steem blockchain technology is providing us a "place" to combine it all together.

There are a lot of things to be done and we need to work harder to make the system better and works, but we should not just wait for the results and do nothing. Think and do something, create something which is good and have benefit for a lot of people on Steem blockchain technology. Though the beginning of 2019 will be very much different from 2018, but those changes are just right in front of our face. We already have the place, all we need to do is just to build it and grow it in a better way and with the right things to do. I am positive because I am sure there are more people out here who think and learn instead of those who talk too much and too afraid of looking themselves in the mirror. 2019 and forward, Steem will fly high. Every “bird” on Steem who dare to fly high will reach the sky!
