As long as Steemit is suffering from these attacks. There will be a lot of pressure on Steem. Of course we have alternatives to acces the Steem block-chain like busy.org.
But Steemit is really the most important thing about the Steem blockchain. Sign in on Busy.org while steemit is down and you will see a drastic decrease in traffic.
Also a lot of people are hoarding BTC to collect free coins after the HF. So I expect a rise of value of major alt-coin after the HF has happened.
At least the coin is stable and not in a downfall.
