How to play Drugwars.io, the new game on steemit.

Drugwars.io is a new online game build on the steem blockchain. In the game you are a drugslord who has to build up his drug empire and fight off your enemies. The game itself is free to play but you can pay steem to get in-game upgrades. Based on how big your share is of all the drugs produced in the game you get paid out a certain reward in steem.

How does this game work? 

First you have to connect your steem account to the game with steemconnect. When Drugwars launches for the first time you will see this screen:

It allows you to choose a character. (Doesn't really make a difference which one you take since they have no special abilities.)

Now the first mission will launch, follow all the steps:

To buy something in this game you have to spend resources:

There are 3 types of resources: drugs, weapons and alcohol. Upgrade your buildings to scale up production of resources. Also make sure to upgrade your storage as well since you need that to store your drugs (and other resources) safely from enemies. Otherwise they can steal it.

Not all upgrades are worth it, you have to do the math. Take this for example:

In this case it's more efficiënt to upgrade the pharmaceutical lab since you can produce more drugs for the same amount of money.

Based on the amount of drugs you produce in the game daily rewards are paid out with steem. This is my current reward:

You could also choose to invest drugs into a "bank heist", which allows a share of the daily prize pot.

8% of the total rewards pool is distributed to players.
7% is delivered to all players depending of their drugs production.
1% is delivered for whom who invested in the next heist. 

How do they finance those rewards? 

89% of each payment made over DrugWars (when someone buys in-game content) goes to the dealer (=reward pool). The dealer redistributes 9% of the total pool to all users daily, depending on their production capacity (and not their stake) 

Battles allow you to fight against other drug dealers and steal their drugs when you win. In order to battle you first have to recruit units . Units also act as a defence against other players who try to steal resources. But there are different options to defend yourself in the game. (upgrade your "military" buildings and storage)

All units have 3 stats: attack, defence and speed. 

Units with a high attack are useful to battle other players. Use high defence units as a way to defend yourself against other players. The speed stat means how long it will take to attack another player and steal their resources.
