Repurposing my Facebook and YouTube videos
On Steem we have a few organists who participate in our Secrets of Organ Playing Contest every week and they also upload their playing on YouTube.
Not only it gives them this extra reach but also they monetize their work.
Because in order to get some revenue from YouTube you need to have at least 1000 subscribers but with Steem you are payed for every upvote you get and the rewards get transfered to your wallet after 7 days has passed since the publication of the post.
So I, for example, also repurpose my organ improvisation or sight-reading videos that I livestream on Facebook and simply download them on my phone with the app called Video Downloader and upload them to YouTube, Then I grab a link and create a separate post about it on Steem and paste the link there. This way not only my videos live the extra life on YouTube but also they get monetized twice.
With steem2wls application my posts get automatically cross-posted to Whaleshares platform from which I also get extra rewards.
There are other options of course to convert the video to mp3 and to upload the sound file to platforms which also give rewards for streaming. I used to upload them to Musicoin and Choon but later decided to focus on Steem and Whaleshares because the return on investment currently is the greatest for me there.
Can't be everywhere all at once. In my mind it's better to concentrate on a couple of platforms but engage in them with comments, reading other people's blogs and supporting them this way. If you provide enough value for other people in the form of education, entertainment or inspiration, little by little your community will grow as well as your influence.

People that don’t value music or musicians generally don’t understand unless you turn the tables on their own profession. They also think music is a “gift”. While it has some truth in that statement, we still have to work hard to refine our craft.
