I can't see any positive side on the rewards cut, apart from benefits to the large stakeholders. Less incentive to produce good content, and more to just vote shitposts pumped with bidbots. With the difficulties for newcomers with the RC, together with lower rewards, seems a wrong way to get more people on board... let's see how it plays out.

Thanks for your feedback man, you made some valid points here. I am afraid you are right, onboarding and retention of newbies might be even more difficult than it is now. On the other hand, some people think good content creators could make even more rewards with the new system. But that would require manual curation by our whales and orcas I guess... Like you said, let´s see how it plays out ;)
Exactly... with increased manual curation things could work out. But although I am usually optimistic, I don't believe in that one that much :) We'll definetely have to wait and see!
