would you say ethereum is no longer an alt coin?
I consider an altcoin anything other than Bitcoin, but it is among the more popular.
I wonder what people will call things if eth takes the spot of number 1 haha.
i'm a big believer in eth's potential, so I was surprised in your picks but those are nice choices.

Does it bother you that ripple is not decentralized and supports banks?
it bothers me, It definitely has potential but I personally don't want to buy in because of the support it shows.
but in the future maybe i'll regret being stubborn or something

Funny, everybody has their own favorites for different reasons. We share Steem (obviously). I hearded of Ripple, had a lot. Sold them one year too early. Learned that Ripple is excaclty the opposite of what cryptos are supposed to be (in my opinion). The other three coins I never even heard of.
I like Litecoin, PIVX, BitShares and a few new ones.
