I am a small author here and a good Steemian that delivers solid content to his audience. I do apologize if you do not agree with my content. But Steemit allows us the freedom to post articles and content others may not agree with. I do not agree with much of what you post on occasion, or the inflammatory nature of your posts; so I comment, I don't downvote and even if I had 20,000,000 SP would not downvote an opinion I simply do not agree with.
Debate the issue, make a comment.. Don't take rewards away from the little guy for simply creating an article and having an opinion. I am not attacking you, but you are attacking me.
Also what have your proven? You have more money? Your SP is higher? You will use your finances to crush any thoughts and opinions you do not agree with? For what? to flex your muscles and bully me, to run me from the platform? Whats the point? All it does is set an example that discourages other Steemians from participating and having an opinion for fear of being bullied or down voted.
I was actually somewhat excited about the platform, that was my highest paying post and the proceeds would eventually go to a fund that will benefit many STeemians on the platform.
A project in the works that will prove or disprove the viability of the platform and hopefully benefit many members of our fair community
It's sad, actually very sad.. it is discouraging and it really hurts when you take money out of the pocket of the little guy you claim to help by crushing their rep and posts because you may not agree with something. DEBATE the issue, talk about it, make STEEMIT a better platform.
I'm actually quite disheartened that you took not only my earnings but also my reputation for simply creating a well written article you may not of agreed with. Sad, man, sad.. debate the issue

To be completely honest I am quickly coming to the opinion that STEEMIT sucks... or that you have to be a kiss ass and not have an opinion for fear of getting your account crushed. Sounds a lot like how the press is North Korea is run.
Again, it hurts, it really hurts to have my rep crushed like that I have spent many hours tirelessly putting good content together, tracking my results for other Steemians etc. Is this the example we want to set for them?
Debate the issue, be a man, comment, talk or just leave me alone. Hell lets collaborate on ways to make the platform better but the bullying should stop.

Yup, I concur. Steemit sucks! Never have I ever seen a social media platform where people are being put down just because they have an opinion. And a large number of them too. Waiting for down votes on this comment now.
By the way, I was reading "the design of everyday things" the other day and it says that if s product is not intuitive, it's badly designed. I think this applies to steemit as well. If something as basic as free speech needs to be fought for, then there's no point of a platform. If you're rich, you can be as vulgar as you want. I don't see how the platform benefits from that. I already see the quality of content sinking. It's easy to see that people are moving away from this platform. Nobody benefits from that, not me, not you, not @ned, not @haejin, not @berniesanders.

Hahahaha EVERY SINGLE ONE there is drama. Drama is a part of life and I have seen thousands of comments (of which ether are actually millions) on FB people hating, belittling, fighting, blaming, hating, cursing etc people they disagree with.
Flags are just like the opisute of a like or an up vote, its just here on Steemit it has a $ value to it. Steemit is the BEST social media platform on earth as of now. Is it perfect? No far from. yet I woudlent use anything else.

Very true, I think it is probably just a ponzi.. sucks in new users, pump and dump with hope.. and then wait for the next batch, while the rich get richer and take money away from the lower level members. I was reading the wiki on steemit and it sucks pretty bad as well.. most likely an article will come out on cointelegraph pretty soon that will hurt steem price in a big way.

Actually I never got paid by twitter or FB directly.. .indirectly may be a different story. That aside my reference to the ponzi was that users come in with hopes of doing something big, hopes of having the freedom to write freely express ideas and elevate others. Instead if they create an article that breaks no rules but is contrary to the opinion of another they article will be downvoted and the rewards that should of gone to that author for their work will be taken from them. I also reference the fact that some here, based upon their following or manipulation of the system can and do reap high rewards by spamming articles with absolutely no valuable content.
Bernie is the exception, not the standard. You will do well here. Just keep going. We need more people capable of objective analysis here. Keep reaching out for help, it will come. Keep reposting. I would expect some changes in HF-20.

Yeah- There was a lottery guy who made Steemit fun. Lots of us would go there each day. Well- A big wig flagged all of his posts. Lotto guy tried to reconcile but the big wig was having none of it. He thought Lotto guy was harming steemit. Well-It took our lotto friend out. He's gone now and I don't see the people there that I would say good morning to and have little chats. Lotto guy was doing nothing wrong and taken out. The big wig used his powers and took a lot of fun away from all of us.

That said I feel as though your intuition may be slightly off and somewhat skewed by your inner belief system, thoughts or opinions. In regards to my alleged naivety, well may have accomplished what I set out to achieve. You should likely view my introduction page or step back from the trees to see the forest and try and discern what my end game may be. If you do that you may find that I am not nearly as naive as you think. To that end I am an INTJ according to having tested out in multiple languages all with the same result; that might also give you some insight into my way of seeing and solving a problem..

I'm a person who considered John Galt a slight disappointment and bit naive (Basically I'm not the kind of person who looks in the mirror and think I'm awesome. I'm a bit obsessive perfectionist) The main reason I called you naive was that you went on to discuss with an entity and got downvoted by a small army which I'd totally expect from the entity you are dealing with. Nice to meet an INTJ. I have someclose friends who are ENTJ, INTP, ESTP and I'm an ENTP. The first thing I notice of anything is the cracks and flaws. I've mentioned this in a bunch of places. TLDR is there is no point talking about it with these bad actors. You'd have a better time wrestling with a pig. Never think that these "leaders" of these redistributive flags would ever be good guys. I think absolute evil is impossible. But I also remember that there were many who attempted to kill Buddha and his disciples and some succeeded. Jesus was also successfully crucified.
I might actually come across like Ragnar Danneskjöld (who incidentally was the philosopher of the group.) or an anarcho-capitalist calling out minarchists. I stick with my don't talk just upvote and maybe flag if you are willing to engage in a war. There is no point in talking with wolves about being vegetarian. It's a waste. Spreading some awareness about the wolves is good. You've done that and people have figured things out. Just relax and have peace. Don't bother with discussions with certain kinds of people. It's such a shame what this handful of a-holes are doing with the platform. I just tried to make some constructive suggestions to the rewardpool/flagging issue and
stalinbernie just relentlessly voted me down. It's a travesty and the worst part is that the witnesses seem not to get it or see it as a problem at all.What a shame for such a great idea..

I agree, it is a dictatorship to some extent. But no obstacle is insurmountable, if you are small and desire to destroy a regime, you can't go after the dictator or his armies.. go after the farmers that grow the wheat to feed the army.
