Steemit.com hit by DDoS attack
The steemit.com website was hit by a DDOS attack sometime after midnight UTC (14 March) that took it offline for around half an hour.
Intermittent access problems have continued throughout the day. The Steemit Inc team are still working at resolving the issues.
The steem blockchain was not affected and has been accessible all the time via other interfaces such as Busy, Partiko or Steempeak.
Steemhunt's first IEO achieves 100% within 3 minutes
Steemhunt's first IEO via the IDCM exchange achieved over 100% of target sales within just 3 minutes of launch.
The offering has now been upsized to 200% to allow continued purchases.
@steemhunt's next IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) will be via the Probit Exchange from 19 - 22 March 2019.
The Probit exchange will support STEEM to purchase HUNT tokens during the IEO.
Steem gets its own page on Wikipedia
Following his discovery that Steem did not have its own page on Wikipedia, @theaustrianguy has now created a page... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steem
Pages on Wikipedia are open to editing by anyone that creates an account.
@apshamilton is therefore calling on the steemians to be vigilante and be ready to reverse any incorrect changes to the page...
Call to get STEEM on PolisPay
@hansdewet has put out for a call for support to help get STEEM listed on PolisPay...
PolisPay is an app that has a card that is backed by MasterCard. They have listed a few coins recently, sending them 2x and almost 3x their current values.
