The State of Steem Forum #8 - It's A Wrap (part 1) - Thursday 14 February, 8pm - 11pm UTC - MSP Waves
The scheduled topic State of the Steem Forums have now come to an end.
This Thursday will be the first of two wrap-up, where do we go from here forums.
These two final forums will each cover six of the 'Big Dozen' key indicator projects identified for Steem for 2019.
The Forum will take place on the MSP Waves Discord channel between 8pm and 11pm UTC.
Forum 8 (Thursday 14 February) : Wrap-up Forum - part 1
Through the course of running the State of Steem Forums, and through editing the SoS Daily News Digests, I have picked up on twelve key indicator projects that for me will determine the State of Steem during 2019.

It will be too much to cover all 12 projects in one forum, so they will be split 6 and 6 across two forums.
The six projects to be covered in Forum #8 this week will be Hivemind, RocksDB, Smart Media Tokens, Communities, The Steem Alliance & The Steem Foundation, and the Steem Worker Proposal System (now Steem.DAO).
Forum #9 on 21 February will cover Advertising, SteemOnboarding, Steem Business Alliance, DApps & Apps, Exchanges and Direct Fiat / Steem Conversion.

6. Steem Worker Proposal System - Ned Scott from Steemit Inc, along with @exyle (Steem witness).

The seven State of Steem Forums held so far have been well received.
The first was an 'overview' forum with 19 witnesses and community leaders giving their view on the current State of Steem including @aggroed, @anarcotech, @anomadsoul, @crypto.talk, @exyle, @fredrikaa, @hr1, @imacryptorick, @llfarms, @lukestokes, @nathanmars, @paulag, @project7, @shadowspub, @starkerz, @taskmaster4450, @themarkymark, @therealwolf and @yabapmatt.

The second forum focussed on Steem Technology and covered topics such as nodes, RocksDB, SMTs, RC Delegation Pools, Account creation. It also explored the decision making mechanisms to move development forward as Steemit Inc pulls back.
