Who doesn't want a upvote anyway?
Everyone does.
To get upvote, you have to write quality content. If you make video, make sure that someone gets something after watching your video.
You have to engage with your audience in the comment section. If someone leaves comment on your post, you should reply to that comment.
Make comment on others post and engage with them. It will help you get to know each other. And you will get more upvote.
If you always make quality content, some people might set you on their auto upvote. You will get upvote when you post your article.
At the beginning of my Steemit journey, I did not spend more time on Discord, but now I think I should have spent more time over there. You will get to know a lot of people all over the world. It will give more exposure on your post and you will get a lot of upvote.
You can participate in contests. If you win, you will get reward. You can get more upvote and exposure on your post.
Sometimes your post can be featured in different community. You will get a lot of upvote for that. So keep writing.
