I rather think we should prevent people from powering down all SP. Why would a person do this? A person powering down to zero, will not contribute at all as voting value will be zero and curation will be zero. We should rather encourage people to power up and grow on steemit!!
That's a valid argument. However, I believe people should have the freedom to power down to zero. Whether someone powers up or down is his own decision.
I agree with your view, everybody have a choice, but each choice has consequences, and if you have zero SP the consequence is that you will have limited transactions, the choice stays yours.
