Last night, SP Investments had its first quarterly Club meeting in Discord. It was fun, I met some new people and got to know others better, and we threw around a few ideas and suggestions.

SP Investments has grown really fast in its first three months becoming an Orca a week or two ago. Growth on investments is increasing nicely, and there is a new account, @spinvest-leo, which curates Steem Leo, and which is already showing growth potential.

SP Investments has been hovering just under 50,000 token sales for a week or two now, as most early adopters have purchased their stake in the token. The time has come for growing the investor base.

Starting with communities and accounts within Steem, I suggest targeting the smaller accounts working towards becoming a Minnow.

Targeting Communities: Growing the Minnows Pool

Several posts have highlighted the growth in numbers and stake of Dolphins, Orcas and Whales. Minnows haven't fared so well - new Minnows are not coming into the Pool as fast as Minnows are growing into Dolphins. However, retaining and growing these accounts is critical to growing Steem.

A recent post by @pennsif highlighted the challenges of buying Steem for some members (just simply how to do it) and suggested that a Minnow Makers Savings Plan might be a solution.

SP Investments already does this. Each month there is a group buying post where investors can send fiat in any currency of any amount to the SP Investment PayPal account. Fiat is converted and withdrawn, Steem is purchased and converted to SPI tokens which are distributed to participants.

SPI tokens can be HODLed with target earnings of 20%, or traded for Steem at market prices on Steem-Engine. SP Investments also guarantees a 95% buy-back offer.

Three accounts which support potential minnows are @tenkminnows (founded by @steevc), @chops.support (founded by @slobberchops) and @steemclub-uk (founded by @pennsif). (Please add any others in the comments).

I'd suggest a small campaign of posts targeted at those communities, resteemed and supported by the founders of each account. Each post would have:

• a simple explanation of SP Investments.
• how to become an investor and the benefits.
• how to buy some SPI tokens using the monthly group buying scheme.
• date and time of a find-out-more Q and A session voice session on Discord.

One of the suggestions in the Club meeting was separate accounts for different Club activities - for example, a separate account for the monthly group buys. This is a great idea - new investors can follow this account and quickly start saving, becoming involved in other things as and when they are ready.

I'd be happy to co-ordinate this campaign, working with the founders of each of the accounts, I would like some support for the Discord information sessions and I'd welcome anyone who would like to be the author of a post or posts for one of the communities.
