I am really growing weary of being constantly vindicated. If only people would actually be willing to listen the first time. Think of how far ahead of the curve we could be right now?

Trust me, I'm more sad than amused to see the sudden uprising of people who are indignantly posting about their newly realized awareness of collusion, corruption, mismanagement or worse, malicious management, misuse of funds, lack of deliverables, failures and embarrassments of the "dear leaders", and I am totally disgusted by the fanboi-ing, kool-aid drinking and rah rah of the sheep who cling to their cognitive dissonance. But what do, really? We've been calling this shit out for how long now?

Sadly, it mimics the "real world" - we know the government is corrupt, we know it's mismanaged, we know it's working actively against us, but unable to cope with or change much about that, it's almost like stockholm syndrome kicks in, in some sort of last ditch self preservation mode.

Guess that's how we got here...

I'm going to have to make that into a t-shirt:

Yeah, me too. It's the damned truth.

Predicting is not useful if no one listens.
If no one listens it's not their fault, it's yours.
Try to get your point across in a better way, persuade people.
Blaming others is easy, being in the driver's seat is hard.
Be responsible for steem's state. Code. Convince. Do whatever it takes but saying I told you so won't bring more people on your side.

Intensifies.
