Steem Top 40 Crypto - bit(&ALT)coin updates #01

Steem is on a tear lately.. Coinmarketcap shows a 7 day chart unlike most other cryptos, slow, steady and gradual increases of around 20% over the week.

as compared to the mostly stableish Bitcoin... which was around 3.8k to 3.9k.. that's like... fakes some quick math idk, very little growth... the month for bitcoin isn't much better, at around 3.6k to 3.9k.. again, very little growth. Especially when compared to steems 28 cents 30 days ago, that very little growth on Bitcoin looks.. sad. but hey, it's ok, Bitcoin will rise again, and it's nice to see steem isn't directly tied to bitcoin's value..

Spent a few minutes looking at the trading activities and seems 44% is on one exchange, UPbit, over the last 24 hours.. but not sure about historical, didn't dig that far. Having binance, and bithumb having a sizable portion for trade makes me a little more comfortable, but who knows how far deep the bot networks arbitrage across exchanges.. I'll have to look more into steem to other altcoin pairs to see if any other coins have a heavy weight in steems price. So far, it seems pretty independent of the other cryptocurrency markets. Again, this is with only about a half hour of looking.
