Steem - Where Does the Money Come From? (Video Insight From Ned Scott, Steemit CEO) - MUST WATCH - Contributed by @Gandhibaba

in #steem5 years ago

Steem is the blockchain of opportunities, says Ned Scott, the CEO of Steemit in this video. Ned gives a glimpse into the workings of the Steem blockchain.

Ned begins his lectures by first telling us how Steemit.com became the first decentralized social network site in the world. He goes on to explain the roles of witnesses (who are physically present in different parts of the world) in maintaining consensus nodes that run the entire steem blockchain.

Also, Ned answers the multimillion dollar question - where does the money come from? He talks about Steem being the token issued by the Steem blockchain to reward users for creating contents and other developers who add value to the Steem blockchain.

Not only that, Ned tells us the boundless opportunities that the Steem blockchain presents to entrepreneurs when the Smart Media Tokens (SMT) are integrated into the Steem blockchain. Entrepreneurs, he says, will be able to create their own cryptocurrencies within the Steem blockchain. This will help them to make profit while rewarding those who use their Dapps.

There is a lot to learn from the vision which Ned Scott has for the Steem blockchain and that insight was given in this short video. I can only hope that you'll find it quite interesting as I did.
