My STEEM Targets for CW07
Hi everyone!
It was an amazing week, with lot of fun and an organic growth of 32 SP (1.29% increase). Even more, this week I decided to reinvest all the STEEM that I got from the sell of my Steem Monster legendary summoners: 100 STEEM used for power-up, and additional 20 STEEM used on SBI shares.
My self-vote rate was in target (34.6%). I published ten times: two Steem Monsters giveaways (which are still open, and I encourage you to have a look), and six Actifit logs (where I celebrated the "10k AFIT tokens" milestone).
Unfortunate, I did not manage to fulfill my target regarding the Partiko reward points. It was a week where I mainly used my computer, but Partiko announced that they are working on a browser version of their amazing app. I'm so happy with Partiko, that I believe this will become my de facto way to interact with the STEEM blockchain.
My targets for the next week:
- Power-up 26 STEEM from organic growth.
- Write at least 10 posts.
- Track at least 5 Actifit activities.
- Keep my self-vote below 30% (old target was 35%).
- Earn 2000 Partiko points by interacting with more people.
Some thoughts on self-voting:
I received a great comment from @steevc, advising about the power of not using any self-voting. Steve is totally right, and if you take a look on my numbers, the contribution of self-voting is really insignifiant. Using your voting power is a powerful way to show support to others, and, in the end, STEEM is mainly a tool for social interaction. Offering your votes to content creators is what helps building strong connections, and there's no real reasons why not to extend this even further! I'm decided to restrict my self-voting as much as possible, keeping it as an option only for my own articles (where this might help reaching out new people) and for the so called STEEM dust (content that has some votes, but with a total value below $0.02, is not rewarded by the current algorithm), where I will only use enough voting power to bring the comments above the dust threshold, not nothing more.
At the time of this article, my account has 2,614.527 SP (902.413 STEEM is delegated to the various projects that I support). I have 793 followers, and my self-vote is 34.6%, with votes going to 43 different people. All my Partiko points will be consumed to promote this article, therefore I will start the week with 0 points.
