How could anyone ever hear about steemit?
There are so many ways of promoting steemit and one way that can certainly work is one that you probably have an idea of of.
You see, just like airdrops, the ICOs are offered to new entrants for completing a few minor tasks for the betterment of the new project itself, mostly marketing, spreading the project to be known by as many people as possible.

Then when most people in your society can't really get some steem even after signing up on steemit is one of the main reasons theu quit that early. Okay it's not your fault or their fault either, it's everyone's fault and as a steemian who promotes steemit, how are you going to prove to people that steem is real money? Because even when they sign up it's not yet over.

This is something that i think most of us have considered, accepting steem is an ultimate way of promoting steemit, imagine telling people to blog on steemit so they can be able to get a few products from your supermarket

A business person being able to accumulate some steem over time just by accepting steem as a payment, this is more likely for investors

The more people accept steem, the more the trust in the steem blockchain.
The steem blockchain is so big, we shall attract all proffessions to take up in various areas on the steem blockchain.
Now that our country Uganda has faced some minor changes mostly for the taxes, it's easier to let them know of a different philosophy about money or financial independence to let them view cryptocurrency as an opportunity to save them from headache of the imposed difficulties mostly for an average poor man in uganda or africa at large.

So.
Steem can be put to use to promote steem itself. There are some more ways, and we should thrive to make them effective as well.
