How will you react if steem ecosystem will introduce lending and borrowing services in 2019 and one dApp will be exclusively dedicated to that where people will borrow and lend in steem token? How will that affect the economy of steem blockchain?

It's an interesting idea but I don't think that it's really necessary.

The main question is: Why would you need to borrow Steem. What would the borrowers be doing with the tokens?

* If the answer is "funding rewards for a community" or "funding a dApp" then there already exists the capability to delegate Steem Power for this purpose. SP delegation has the additional benefit of little risk for the lender since the lent amount cannot be defaulted.

* If the answer is "to provide funds for buying things in fiat" or "for cryptocurrency trading" then the borrower would need to provide some form of collateral to ensure they pay back the loan. For very small, short term loans this collateral could be potential loss of reputation but this is only open to long term Steem users with high reputation and earnings potential. There is also the huge risk of Steem rising whilst the borrower does not hold the token, resulting in an escalating balance that they can never pay back. There is unlikely to be a large market or huge appetite for this kind of scheme. 

* Perhaps the one area that I can see there being a market is for purchase of Steem based assets, such as SteemMonster cards. In this situation the cards themselves could act as collateral and be passed to the lender in case of default. The cards may also provide some limited degree of natural hedge against the currency risk of Steem rising. However for this kind of asset it is more likely that the organisers themselves will need to be involved in launching the scheme, rather than a separate dApp, due to the lack of smart contracts on Steem to handle the ownership issues.

But an interesting idea nonetheless.
