hey, @steembasicincome has got to do with shares and it gives you upvotes on the shares you hold. i'm not really sure about the entire details and ROI, but it helps one to support smaller accounts as they get upvotes. you can check out their blog - once you send steem to enroll someone with a share you also get a share. :)
