Do not let yourself be overcome by evil

Greetings to all of you who always work here in steem.

By receiving the Lord in our life (spirit), there is a new birth (new life), a spiritual man who must feed on the spiritual to obtain growth and be able to dominate his previous man (ancient life). There is an internal battle that each one must wage in the midst of those who approach and ministerial, labor and family commitments. The Church today is locked in this internal struggle while the needs for souls are in the background, WE HAVE NOT BEEN OURSELVES to win this internal battle and how we want to conquer the KINGDOM OF GOD. Nor can we blame Satan because they are the manifestations of the flesh and the concupiscence itself that we need to be victorious.

The good means: The spiritual, the new man, the good, the new life in Christ.

The bad means: The carnal, the old man, the evil, the old life.

Through this reflection God wants to take you by means of his Word what is his will, what the Bible says about this and how can I OVERCOME THE BAD WITH THE GOOD

The Apostle Paul shows the difference between the one who lives to satisfy his own carnal desires and the one who lives to do the will of God, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit: "Brothers, you were called to freedom, but do not use freedom to give occasion to the will of the flesh (...) Live by the Spirit, and in no way satisfy the desires of the flesh, because the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, the Spirit, which is contrary to the meat. (...)

Now, the works of the flesh are manifest: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hate, discord, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies and similar things. I warn you, as before I warned you: Those who practice these things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness and self-control. Against these things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus crucified the flesh, with its passions and its desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. "(GALATIANS 5: 13-25)

Do not let the works of the flesh take place in your life. Instead, ask the Holy Spirit to transform you and produce in you the desire to serve God and to obey Him.
