Because we are so intelligent in several aspects, but when it comes to relationships we act as illiterate? Mastering emotions and impulses is not easy, but it is not impossible. Every day I have been more awakened to study and write about that subject that arouses my curiosity.

Emotional intelligence is a new path that opens before us. When we wake up to the importance of developing it, we see how many problems of the past could have been avoided if we knew the best way to deal with situations.

This is a relatively new issue for us. For a long time, it was believed that psychological care and therapy were only for the "crazy", when in reality we all need a dose of care with our soul. Having professional help to learn and learn to manage life's circumstances can prevent many future disorders. We can build a generation of emotionally healthy men and women if we submit to the process of self-knowledge and development of emotion management tools.

How many of us carry deep wounds in the soul because of words spoken in the wrong way? How many of us would like to go back in time to correct our words from the past?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to return to the past, but we can turn our gaze to the future and learn from past circumstances so that they do not recur in the future. We can develop mature thinking about our wounds and help people with our experience, not to go through the same things that we went through.

We can develop individual responsibility and know that everything that our success depends only on ourselves.

So what are we waiting for? Would not it be wonderful to see people doing well, staying married for a longer time, educating their children effectively, assuming their role in life, in the church, in society and building a sustainable future for the next generations?

This is not utopia, but it is totally possible if we develop a mature look about ourselves and about the way we relate to our neighbor (mainly the "close to the truth" that are the ones that live with us daily).

In that electoral period we are, it is very common to place our expectations on a specific candidate and believe that He will be the solution to our problems, when in reality he does not act alone, but he represents us. Who makes the government is us.

When we stop outsourcing our happiness and our peace, everything will walk better. Therefore, assume the control of your life, your emotions, your heart and everything will always remain well, in peace.
