If you're a Catholic you should know that your church teaches salvation by infant baptism, good works, and obedience to church rules.

If you study the Bible you'll learn that we're saved by faith alone in Christ alone guided by the Bible alone.

You become a Christian when you repent of your sins, accept what Jesus did on the cross to pay for those sins, and accept Jesus as Lord.

You don't become a Christian because you were baptized or because you believe in God or because you go to church or because of what your parents do.

If we have faith we can do whatever God calls us to do. It doesn't mean that we'll achieve anything we want in our selfish ambition.
