He Is The Same God

Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God.
Exodus 3:6

There are so many things said about God. Distinct ideas and philosophies has been raised concerning the Alpha and Omega. Some people are even of the view that there is no God. They foolishly propound theories and make discoveries to prove that God does not exist.

Besides , others are also of the opinion that God exist and many stories have been told us of God. All the things and the miracles wrought by his hands. The great doings and workings of God is revealed through the things we heard about Him. "O Lord, I have thy speech, and was afraid....." [Habakkuk 3:2]. This the Prophet Habakkuk telling us about the things he had concerning the Lord and these gave him the boldness that God exist.

The same thing applies to Moses to in the above text. Moses seeing the fire in the wilderness that was not burning the bush became astonish and curiously approached it. But the Lord told him not draw nigh and commanded him to put off his shoes. Moses did not know whom he was talking to. He had a lot about God though but he initially didn't consider it is God whom he had encounter. But when the Lord said, I am the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Moses hid his face in fear.

Immediately he heard the introduction God gave concerning Himself he bowed because of what he had heard about the God of Abraham. The introduction alone gave Him a picture of the Everlasting God who has done a lot with Israel, so he knew that the Great has visited Him.

Sometimes we may not know when we encounter the Lord. We may enter into conversation with God without even knowing that it God but God through references and actions gradually reveals Himself to us.

Dear brothers, I want to assure you that the same God who walked with Abraham, Isaac and Israel is still there. He has not changed. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. If what you are going through seems to tell you God does not exist, withdraw because the God of Paul and Peter is still working, just trust Him.
