Attacks of the enemy to the families.
As I mentioned in the previous publication, the enemy wants to destroy the families, because he knows that through them he can end the blessings that God has for the human being and for the purpose of God in our lives.
That is why it is very important to know the most frequent attacks of satan, to families. Here I will mention some.
Genesis 2: 15-18
And the LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and keep it. 16 And Jehovah God commanded man, saying, "Eat every tree freely in the garden, 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, do not eat it, for on the day you eat of it, you will surely die." 18 Then the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone, I will give him a help convenient for him."
The Lord did not "counsel", but "ordered" Adam to eat the fruits of all the trees, except those of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Eve was not there yet and, later, Adam would have to faithfully inform him of this command of God, but he did not do it and the enemy took advantage of it, in fact, he went to prove his right. The communication between the spouses is very important, in this way it prevents the enemy from coming to sow weeds in the minds of our couple, of our family.
Many families are harmed by the excessive interference of the parents of the spouses, who claim the right to continue guiding their children in their elections, interfering in marriage, going over the decisions of the couple ... this sometimes is usually one of the main problems in marriages. That is why the Lord was wise and said:
Matthew 19: 5-6
And he said: Therefore, the man will leave the father and the mother and will unite with his wife, and the two will become one flesh. 6 And then there are no longer two, but only one flesh, which, therefore, that God has united, man does not separate it.
The husband must have a relationship with his wife at 360 degrees: spirit, soul and body. God does not allow the physical union of two people before or outside of marriage; Every union that is outside of God's will prevents you from receiving blessings. He sees the spouses as if they were the same thing, but this ceases when there is no more communion between them and they live under the same roof, making two parallel lives, with great satisfaction of the enemy who has fulfilled his purpose.
In any negative situation, however, with God there is hope, because His grace can help restore the original model.
In the genealogy of Jesus there are three women: the widow Ruth, the adulteress Bathscheba and the prostitute Raab. Three women identified by society who became the progenitors of Jesus. This means that for all there is hope and that, whatever our condition, God can realize his dream through us. You can use widows as orphans and separated. For him there are no limits.
Genesis 3: 1-7
1 Now the serpent was the most cunning of all the beasts of the fields that the LORD God had made, and said to the woman: Did God really say: "Do not eat all the trees in the garden? 2 And the woman he answered the serpent: We can eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden, 3 But of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God said: Do not eat it or touch it, otherwise you will die.4 Then the serpent said to the woman: You will not die, 5 But God knows that the day you eat, your eyes will open and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.6 And the woman saw that the tree was good to eat, that it was pleasing to the eye and that the tree was desirable to make an intelligent one, and she took of its fruit, ate it, and also gave it to her husband who was with her, and he ate it.7 Then their eyes were opened and they saw that they were naked Then they sewed fig leaves and made belts to cover themselves.
Adam had not faithfully informed Eve of the words of God and the wicked had the opportunity to speak with her, altering the words of the Lord. God had not "told" not to eat of all the trees in the garden, but had "commanded" not to eat from the tree of knowledge. On the other hand, also, the woman, who began to argue with the evil one, altered the words of the Lord, in fact affirmed that God had said: "Do not eat it or touch it". They may seem small changes, but they clearly indicate the little importance that has been given to His Word and the way it is easily altered. The evil one pressed to the point of contradicting him completely, in fact he affirmed: "You do not die at all", making the Lord appear as a liar and letting the woman believe that it would have been convenient to disobey him. The enemy is expert in making evil appear as good and viceversa.
He also wants us to believe that sin is a good thing and if, for example, our wife or husband does not satisfy us for various reasons, the enemy whispers to us that there are so many good opportunities to leave home. There are believers who fall for this deception and console themselves thinking that the grace of God is available to forgive all sin. They forget that grace does not give permission to sin, but gives the strength to overcome sin. The enemy does not want us to see that the good is inside our home and deceives us, deceives us and highlights the defects and deficiencies of our spouse.
The enemy confused the woman, told her that if they had eaten the fruit of that tree they would become like God. After hearing it, Eva began to see things differently: the tree seemed pleasant and desirable, so much so that she ended up eating a fruit, eating it and giving it to her husband, who ate it forgetting God's mandate.
This tells us our way of seeing the changes according to what we hear, that's why we must learn to eliminate all the gossip and rumors from our house. Eva began to filter everything in the light of her rationalism and her imagination. Both lost the glory of God and when they saw themselves naked they thought about covering themselves with fig leaves, which in the context represent religion, human solutions instead of the divine ones.
This part of the Scriptures concerns each one of us, it leads us to examine ourselves and ask ourselves if we do things with God in our lives or if we do them on our own; if in our daily life we are submissive to God or if we are submissive to our thoughts; If in difficult times we ask God for advice or if we try to solve problems with our human capacities.
To save a marriage, the first thing both spouses must do is approach God, be with the Word, pray. The enemy is subtle, but whoever falls into his deception runs the risk of losing the blessings and entering the generational curse.
God wants us to take care of our family, but what does it mean to "take care"? It means monitoring, controlling people or things. In legal language means adopting public safety measures and laws that ensure the regular performance of activities to tasks. Let us not neglect our families, because the devil is like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
