God wants us to be free from Anxiety.
One of the most beautiful things about Jesus is that he does not want his people to be anxious. He does not use anxiety as a means to stabilize his sovereignty. On the contrary, the purpose of their sovereignty is to free us from anxiety. He does not have
need to keep us in anxiety to establish their power and superiority. These are in fact untouchable and invincible. God does not want slaves, nor people full of fear.
Rather, he exalts his power and superiority by committing to free us from anxiety. When Jesus says: "Do not worry about tomorrow," he commands us to have the kind of life that everyone wants: a life without anxiety, without the fear of men or of adverse circumstances.
But how does Jesus think of doing this in our life when we see so many things around us that make us anxious? Jesus helps us by talking in depth about two topics: anxiety and fear. Talk before the anxiety about the primary needs of life, such as eating, drinking, dressing (Matthew 6: 25-34) and then the anxiety about the evil that men can do (Matthew 10: 26-31).
Matthew 6: 25-34 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960)
25 Therefore I say to you: Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, what you have to wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the sky, which do not sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than them? 27 And who of you can, however much he cares, add one cubit to his stature? 28 And for the garment, why do you worry? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they do not work or spin; 29 But I tell you, not even Solomon with all his glory dressed himself as one of them. 30 And if the grass of the field that is today, and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, God clothes it like this, will he not do much more to you, you men of little faith? 31 Do not worry, then, saying, What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or what shall we wear? 32 For the Gentiles seek all these things; but your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34 Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its eagerness. Sufficient to each day its own evil.
In the first passage, Jesus declares that we can continue to live happily even when we have no idea how our needs will be met. He mentions how He dresses the lilies, and how he feeds the birds, they do not care about anything and live fully. We are his children, he takes care of us and will not allow anything, absolutely nothing, to be lacking. Our trust must be placed in Him so that nothing disturbs us.

26 So, do not fear them; because there is nothing concealed, that is not to be manifested; nor hidden, that is not to be known. 27 What I say to you in darkness, tell it in the light; and what you hear in your ear, proclaim it from the rooftops. 28 And do not fear those who kill the body, but the soul can not kill; fear rather the one who can destroy the soul and the body in hell. 29 Are not two birds sold for a quarter? Yet, not one of them falls to the ground without your Father. 30 For even your hair is numbered.31 So do not be afraid; You are worth more than many birds.
In the second passage, Jesus encourages us to move forward with courage for the love of the truth, even when people threaten us. It teaches us the importance of us for God, the love that has us and that will not let us fall. We should not be afraid of anything that wants to hurt us physically, because our God is with us ...
God wants us completely FREE. Let there be no anxiety in us, because He supplies our needs and protects us from all evil. Let's consecrate our lives to God and everything else will come in addition ... let nothing disturb our peace or our communion with God. Let us always be firm in Him and He will fight for us, every day of our lives.
