Tips for June

I started June on a giddy mode but few hours into the month, I was hit with sad news. I was so sad I lost connection for some time but, I was encouraged. I remember that Christians do not say good bye, we only say till we meet again. So to my lost dear one I say, till we meet again.

In times like this, it is hard to worship God. Yes, very, but I remember this happened in the Scripture. How sad Mary and Martha must have felt at the loss of their brother Lazarus.

From the book of

John 11:30-38

We see a lot of things; the neighbours mocking Jesus, saying, "he claimed to love Lazarus, yet he let him die before showing up!" However, Jesus knew that Lazarus's death was to glorify God.

Studying Mary from that story, we realize she is a worshipper. She never gave up on her faith in Him and this provoked Jesus to act. He rolled the stone to the tomb away and wept (verse 35)

Mary;

• Fell at His feet
• Bare her mind to Him
• Worshipped Him

• A true worshipper is a weeper/crier. Weeping isn't an act of weakness but a weapon of prayer/warfare.

• A worshipper is One who prostrates to God.

• A worshipper is a crowd puller.

• A worshipper is a soul-winner.

How do you provoke God to action?
This new month, worship Him, in spirit and in truth. God bless you!
