Change Your Thoughts
Everything we learn and know is what we defend as truth, however, not always what we think is the truth. We have an understanding about life, but many things that we "find" are not correct.
For example, we talk about what it says in the Bible, but we do not act according to what is written. We still do not act, truly, as children of God and citizens of the Kingdom. Our philosophy is wrong! After all, we have to be faithful to the word of God!
In James 1:22 it is written: "Repent therefore the word, and not only hearers, deceiving yourselves." The adolescents, the housewives, the businessmen, the professors, the rulers, the politicians, the leaders, the members of the Church, all have their own philosophy. But what is a philosophy? It's the way you think.
In the book of Isaiah 55: 8, the Lord says: "My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways." In this verse, God is talking about our philosophy being contaminated, mixed with inversions, that is, that our way of thinking about ourselves, about other people, about God and about the world, contain ambiguities, because our thoughts are not equal to Him and our way of thinking either.
The first message that Jesus taught in public is described in Matthew 4:17: "Repent, for it is the kingdom of heaven." The word "repent" means turning to the opposite direction or, even, changing the way you think and act. I think He meant: "Change your mind."
The current system of the world - and that is easy to verify - is contaminated by anger, envy, selfishness, lack of love, impatience, lack of forgiveness, lasciviousness ... That's why Jesus tells us: "Repent," so that we can live Love Your patron, as children of God and be blessed!
Read Romans 12: 2: "And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind ..."
Jesus, who was the personification of God's grace, will help you to break the path you have walked and will elevate it to new heights. Do you want to experience the best of God for your life? So, what is "old" has to die. In Christ, choose new attitudes, other thoughts and words. In it, see life with different eyes and move forward with high thoughts and attitudes. "With Christ, everything is possible!" Say: "I am going to change my way of thinking and adjust to God's thoughts." God bless you!
