STEEMCHURCH:Flimsy Excuses-Luke 9:23

source Luke 9:62-Jesus said to him,anyone who starts to plough and then keeps looking back is of no use to the kingdom of God.
Someone who of his own volition planned to follow Christ ,but is still being held down by filial and worldly concerns.
Following Him is the lifeline .Lords challenge is that relationship with,and following Him should be primary and paramount in our minds,while others secondarily follows at a very far distance because looking back in His service is suicidal.
Though it interest you to follow Christ ,but wanted to satisfy your own self,first attend to some issues before responding to His call,mandate and will for your life make sure that you realise that you can't take care of what matters to God at your convenient time,let God's kingdom matter to you with utmost urgency. sourceIn christian journey there is a price to pay,in God's service real attention and focus is needed to fulfil the purpose of calling.Never give excuse remember we are His workmanship called unto good works(Ephesians2:10)
Using Lots wife as a case study,she started the Journey so well but could not restrict the forces of looking back because the forces is too strong for her to withstand.her eyes,heart are factors that influenced her disobedience which led to her destruction source. Mercy is needed to run this race The bible say not for him that willeth,nor him that runneth but God that sheweth mercy.Anyone that will be fitted for the Kingdom's journey must stay focus without looking back.
