THE GOODNEWS
God is a time-keeper. He keeps His appointments and never late. There is an appointed time for everything, but unfortunately because we do not know this, we allow Satan to move us away from the path that we are supposed to be walking on.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 states
To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.
Verses 2-8 went on to specify that there is a time for various things that we go through in life including being born, dying, sowing seeds, harvesting and so on. There is a specific time for everything that we do and each of these times cannot be mortgaged for the other.
What was Jesus specific mission on earth? Luke 4:18-19 spells it out for us. It states,
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,
that the blind will see,
that the oppressed will be set free,
19 and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.”
There was an anointing upon Jesus giving to Him from God, to preach the good news. The good news is that for a while the enemy was feeding us with lies, but Jesus came to tell us the truth. The Bible tells us in John 8:32
That we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free.
There is however a specific time when we will be opportuned to hear the truth; Isaiah 55:6 states,
Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.
If you have been told the truth and you fail to listen, then the time for hearing the truth in your life will pass and subsequently all you will hear will be lies.
