SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH GOD
BIBLE PASSAGE: Psalm 65: 9-12
9 Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.
10 Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.
11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.

THE MESSAGE
Your daily time with God is important if you want to experience a victorious Christian life. It jump starts your waking in the Spirit. If you don't spend quality time with God, regularly, you will lack the fruit of the Spirit, will be frustrated and unable to fulfill God's calling. Quality time means worshipping Him, reading, meditating on and memorizing His word and engaging in prayer exercises. Quality means not convenient, devoid of distractions, not selfish and not only to service your needs.
Quality also means God is your central focus. He isn't an ATM. Even as human beings, you don't consider as your friend someone who only comes to you when in need. His quality of friendship reflects in how much time he spends laughing with, playing with, joking and crying with you. If you love God, He wants you to spend time with Him. The primary reason God created mankind was for fellowship. He proved that with Adam who He came to be with, in the cool of every day. God needs your love, attention and presence. Spending time with Him is the key that unlocks your destiny.

Father Lord, draw me closer to You to spend quality time with You so as to enjoy your presence!
