FOCUS ON GOD
Text:Revelation 1:9-20
In the text,John was exiled because, in spite of persecution,he would not stop worshipping God and preaching the word of God. It was in the midst of these situation that God spoke to him about their situation.
We must continue to worship God and proclaim his word in the face of difficulties. In the midst of our difficulties, there is the Son of Man with us. He has the power to change our situations and show us the way out.
All we need to do is to focus our attention on him and not on our problems.
Jesus Christ is a reliable source.
Some challenges make you feel useless and insignificant. If you had the slightest idea the number of people who look up to you, you will be amazed and you would not be doing things to disappoint them . Many people out there are receiving the blessings of God through you. You are an answer to someone's prayer request. You may have your weakness but God is doing miracles with you. You don't live for yourselves. Don't give up when things go wrong for you. You are someone's hope. You may not be rich or influential but be happy that God is doing something great through you. Remember someone will smile today because of YOU.
