Given the great responsibility that the pastor has to watch over the faithful, coupled with the fact that he receives a salary for his services, it becomes very easy and natural to build all the ministerial work around this post. The pastor perceives that it is his responsibility to do everything, and the church expects this to happen. Teaching, visitation, evangelism, training, leadership of worship, counseling, and other ministerial activities are centered on the time, capacity and disposition of the pastor. Sometimes pastors and the church come to these silent agreements in which everyone is comfortable with the arrangement.
