2 Bless, my soul, Jehovah,
And don't forget any of its benefits.

One of the verses pronounced by King David of infinite wisdom, the king knew that everything that harms us is lodged in his soul, when he pronounced this psalm he only gave an order to his soul that he would never forget the benefits that our lord gives us .

There is a battle between soul and spirit, our soul will always want to impose itself on the things of God.
It is in us to choose who we are going to feed.

Do you know where Satan dwells? It is in our mind and soul, but we are not soulish, we are spiritual beings created to rule together with Christ.Our soul has to die, it has to diminish for Christ to grow.
The soul keeps the things that hurt us, but the spirit gives us life.

We have to give government to the spirit, because if the soul is the one who governs us we will be eating the old and sooner or later it will take its toll.

We cannot serve two masters to the soul and the spirit, so choose today who you are going to serve.

We must take care of the freedom that God has given us in the spirit, because the soul will always want to take control over our lives, this fight comes from our mind there is the battlefield.

The bible is full of stories of men and women who broke their flesh for love of God.Joseph despised Potiphar's wife and preferred jail to lose God's dream.We must exercise self-control to overcome the desires of the flesh, to be effective in evangelization if we have not first conquered the flesh by submitting it to the spirit.

18 And I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, goodness does not dwell; because wanting good is in me, but not doing it.

There are two laws: the law of sin and the law of the spirit of life that has freed us from the first law and death.
You know that this power went down to hell and brought Jesus from the dead and is the same spirit that dwells in us.

I think we all go through moments of important decisions in our lives, but be sure to decide for the spirit there is victory and wisdom.No religion helps us to overcome the flesh, the only thing that can do it is the correct understanding of how the spiritual laws of the gospel work.
