Jesus is an artist and we are his masterpiece. No one can write a love poem like the one written on the cross.
In that art that is to live, one can still hear the creative voice of God that spoke softly from the beginning of creation: be the light, all the good and beautiful that there is in the world is the answer to the voice of the almighty God , that who is available still listens.

I can hear God tell me: Darlenys, I want you to be happy, let me make your life an art. For days I attended a conference where a doctor talked about happiness and how he had determined in his interior to be absolutely happy, independent of the circumstances that surround him. This decision was the one that allowed him to remain as a volunteer in a hospital hit by the war in Afghanistan.

On this last idea I kept thinking ... and thinking about Jesus. Thinking about Jesus, because He could have been the most unhappy person in this world, if in any case he knew that his life plan was to die and despite that, he chose to live. And again the word "choose" appears.

When God created Adam, the only instruction he gave him was not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, but that tree was not fenced with barbed wire so he would not come near, nor did he have a motion sensor that He would warn God every time someone approached him. God gave the possibility to Adam-even before he ate the fruit of that tree-to choose what it was going to be. And every day, God gives us the possibility to choose the life we ​​want to lead.

Every morning, when we wake up we can choose the attitude with which we will face the world. We can think that the day will be very heavy and that we do not want to get up, and precisely the day will be like that. Or, we can wake up with the same dream, but with a heart willing to be surprised by what God wants to give us. No day is equal to another and many times in the wait for "the big day", we miss the details that make each day a conquest, we lose the "here and now".

Scientifically it has been proven that if we use a minute to keep a negative thought in our head, our immune system is in a delicate situation for six hours. The feeling of overwhelm to which we open the door, brings injury to our neurons responsible for memory and learning, affecting our intellectual capacity because it leaves blood supply to those areas of the brain most necessary to make appropriate decisions. As we can see, we are the ones who always end up making the decisions, even of our beautiful body created by God in a perfect way!

The power of God's creative word made everything we see around us and that power is the same that rests in us to be able to create the color of our days. Therefore, we are the ones who choose (and the word comes out again) paint rainbows instead of gray days. We have the power to receive each day as if it were unique, because in truth it is. Make your life an enjoyment, but above all, make your life a choice. That's what Jesus did, being able to choose to live, he chose to die for you and me.
