Do not get Familiar with God and His word
Reading passage: Mark 6vs1-13
And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. - KJV
John 6: 29
Jesus told them, "This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent."
The kindred of Jesus failed to believe in Him because they knew Him as a Carpenter's son and the son of Mary. This robbed them of receiving miracles. They were too familiar with him and the didn't believe in him.
Several times because we are free with our leaders, pastor, etc., we feel we can ride on such opportunities.
We feel since we have such privileges that we can't stoop low or humble ourselves to hear God speak to us through them.
We misuse such opportunities. In future some of our friends will become pastors, overseers, Founder of churches, leaders in one parastatal of life or the other and we do not regard them or care less about them because we once shared the same plate of food with them,play with them etc. and we miss out from the blessing of God from them.
We should be careful least the spirit of over shadows us and cause us pains we might not forget so easily.
