Come clean before God
James 4:8 (WMNT) Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and make your hearts pure, you who are half-hearted towards God.
Look at your hands. What do the lines say? The hands represents our actions. In some religions, Worshippers literally wash their hands before seeking God. Beyond what the eyes can see, different evils make their spots on a sinners hands.
God cannot be bribed. He will not accept the treasures of blood stained wealth neither will wickedness find a place on his alter. No cloud is dark enough to hide the ills of the immoral, neither will the unforgiving be welcomed at the table of sons. If your religion will make any meaning, your ways must be clean.
God does not delight in deceit.
