HIS GLORY, OUR GLORY!
Imagine how glorious the sun is, what about the moon, the stars, how they shine gloriously in their space. Can you also think of the glories of some personalities in this world we live in; the gory of the Queen, presidents, kings and all those in authority. None of these glories are we promised as believers but a greater one - the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
"Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ".2Thes. 2:14(kjvLite)
"When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory." Col.3:4(kjvLite)
Most of us believers seem to have lost sight as far as this truth is concerned.
My prayer is that God causes this truth to dawn on us by His Spirit as we hold on to Him and live the rest of our days in this world in the light of this hope of His eternal glory so that we do not become so much fond of corruptible glories of this world, glories obtained through corruptible means.
"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure." 1Jn.3:2-3.
Hallelujah!
We, the people of God, must not only be bearers of his glory but also a manifester of it, the creation groans to see part of that glory reflected in all mankind.

Very powerful message, @ebotaylor, I am really, really overwhelmed upon hearing this message! Truly; most of us have lost sight for this divine glory of God and it is a high time we revisit the Book of Knowledge and Salvation.
