Trusting in God despite treacherous friends:

Greetings to all steemians and steemchurch; I want to let you know that God is our only sure friend. Sometimes like david, we want to fly away from all our problems, especially when faced with vicious rumours and insinuations from our best friends. Surprisingly enough,they are even from those of our fellowship or church. We cry to God yet He still seems so far, we feel like hurling accusations back at them or defending ourselves. But that is not the solution, we have to keep our confidence in God that ultimately, He will vindicate us and turn the tables on our accusers. What do you do when faced by such attacks? How is your trust in God? Is it easily shaken by every wind of accusation or rumours you hear, even though it may be from your best friend? David tells us what to in such situations in psalm 55:22,23. Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. In vs 23; But you, God will bring down the wicked into the pit of decay; the bloodthirsty and deceitful will not live out half their days. So do not try to defend yourself.
