When we need a miracle!!

Dear community!

The first 6 chapters of the Gospel of Mark record a series of miracles that both you and I need to remember in situations where a miracle is required or better said; "An intervention from heaven".

The inhabitants of Galilee were very blessed. Mark tells us in his book that they witnessed many miracles of Jesus. There were so many that it was not possible to list them.

At that time, wherever Jesus was, large crowds gathered, so Jesus could not even rest and eat. But Jesus, moved by great compassion, did not stop attending to those who sought him.

The Galileans saw many miracles because they believed in him! It did not matter if it was a fever, leprosy, paralysis or hemorrhage. No disease resisted the power of the Lord Jesus Christ!

The good news is that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever and He can perform the same and greater miracles in our lives.

Maybe you're like the woman who spent everything with doctors for a long time, but it only got worse instead of better! Her life changed when she sought Jesus and believed that He could free her from that suffering and restore her to the health she had lost.

That same Jesus can cure diseases that doctors today claim to have no more way!

Recently our heart and our faith were hit by the words of a doctor: "We can not do anything else for his Mother" "there are only a few days left".

Although we did not need to be reminded of those words, because our hope will always be until the end, only God is the one who has the last word!

It is true that God arrives where medical science can not reach. However, we are grateful for all the medical care, they have done the best they can.

So, going back to the biblical passage:

What Jesus tells us is the same thing that He told Jairus, when he received the news of the death of his daughter. Someone advised Jairo not to bother the teacher, but Jesus, ignoring what they said, spoke to Jairo: "Do not be afraid, just believe." (Mark 5.36)

Jairus had sought Jesus to heal his daughter. Jesus was ready to resuscitate her! Jesus can perform miracles greater than those we seek!

Our attitude as Christians should always be one of faith, of living the word of God, of correcting the bad and following the good. We must never deny God under any circumstance, however difficult it may be.

You have to keep going, with proofs, limitations, etc., the miracles of Jesus are valid.

To those who believe!

And these signs will follow those who believe: In my name they will cast out demons; they will speak new languages; they will take serpents in their hands, and if they drink something deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will heal. And the Lord, after he spoke to them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they, going out, preached everywhere, helping the Lord and confirming the word with the signs that followed it. Amen.
Mark 16: 17-20

Amen
