Servanthood

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the in the likeness of men: Philippians 2:5-7

The Apostle Paul was teaching something very vital who started with interrogative pronoun, which is to say, some is been addressed. Looking closely the written of the Apostle Paul He was talking about Christ Jesus. The Bible says " Let this mind be in you which was also in
Christ Jesus" meaning had a certain mentality. My question is what is that mentality?
In Jesus' earthly walk He had a certain mind set and His mind was tune to a certain direction. The mentality of Jesus was HUMILITY. The highest authority in the universe is God, the second highest authority is Man and the lowest is a slave. Jesus who was divine GOD dropped all these levels to the last level. Jesus emptied Himself of the state that He was and took on the form of a slave( bondservant).
But people of God if we all want to taste the divine life in a practical terms, the there is one of keys to unlock the divine Life is humility . It takes an emptiness of oneself to express the the Divine Life. The Divine Life begin with a servanthood mentality. Anybody who is full of Himself cannot not express the Divine Life. The degree at which you humbled yourself is the same degree to which you will be exalted. Jesus humbled Himself from the Upper level to the Lower level. Now, every cause has an effect, people of God for us to express the Divine Life, we ought to have a certain kind of mentality that is the humility mentality, because Jesus is our example.

A bondservant doesn't have his or her own will or not full of Himself or herself. In Exodus 21:5-6 from the ISV But if the servant, in fact, says, I love my master, my wife and my children and I won't go out a free man, then his master is to be him before the judge and he is to bring him to the door or to the doorpost. His master is to price his ear with an awl, and he is to serve him permanently.
This is the mystery of bondservant. People of God, until you are sold out to the Lord, you can't fully express that Divine Life. In the mosaic law allowed a servant becomes a bondservant "voluntarily" meaning by His will.But we have a bunch of believers who are full of themselves.Bondservant is a term applied metaphorically to someone absolutely devoted to Jesus. Paul, Timothy,James, Peter and Jude are all described themselves as 'bondservant of Christ'
For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's Freeman: likewise also he that I'd called, being free, is Christ's servant.He is our Lord and our allegiance is due to Him alone. It's time to renounce certain things which made us full of ourselves.
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two master: for either he will hate the one and love or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Choose to be a bondservant today! And give yourself totally to Him. Mathew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross , and follow me.
