You can never be fulfilled until you locate and begin to pursue God's purpose for your Many stars have refused to rise because they have applied themselves to wrong purposes. They are busy doing t they are not created for, so they look like dummies.
We will all never be pastors, no matter how much Bible one reads. Neither will we all be lawyers, no matter how intelligent one may be. You need a well-defined purpose to fly high in life. When Jesus came, He said:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4.18-19
That was His purpose defined, and He kept to it all through the days of His earthly ministry. I would like to introduce you to three avenues through which you could locate God's purpose for your life.

Calling
This is a divine revelation that defines God's purpose for your life. In this case, God exercises His right to assign anyone (via revelation) to any assignment of His choice. It has nothing to do with your abilities but God's abilities at work in you, because "Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it" (1 Thess. 5:24). Every divine calling naturally enjoys divine backing.
Gifting
This is when you discover the natural endowments inherent in you, the productive abilities that flow out of you naturally.
For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods...to every man according to his several ability.. Matthew 25.14-15
There is no ungifted being on the earth. Everyone is divinely endowed for a profitable life. In case you have not heard a voice and have not seen a vision, look inward and identify your gifting. There is enough inside you to occupy you till He comes.
Gifts and callings are equally potent; either one can get you to your throne in life (Rom. 11:29).
Choices
.1 have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deuteronomy 30: 19
God respects your choice. Not everyone must have a divine calling, and there are some who may not be able to any outstanding gift in their lives, but can still be establish to in a purposeful, fulfilling life based on their choice
God made you a creature of choice, and as long as Your choice is not contrary to His covenant provisions for you have His backing. The power of your choice In locating God's purpose for your life covers areas like academics business, professional practices, but not ministry which is given strictly by divine callings. So, whatever you have discovered, either by calling gifting or your choice, nurture it and do all you can to develop yourself in it, because the brightest stars in the kingdom are those who know where they are going and give it all it take to get there.
God made you a creature of choice, and as long as Your choice is not contrary to His covenant provisions for you have His backing.

whatever you have found, either by calling gifting or your decision, sustain it and do everything you can to create yourself in it. This is an essential component for us to develop in all parts of our lives!

Our calling is the original masterplan that was scheduled for us by God the father, he made us to fulfill a plan and a purpose and the bible said I know the thought I think for you the thought of good and not of evil to give you an expected end.
God has made plans for us, we must discover them to really become who we are meant to be.

To me discovering your call is when you know your destiny, it is when you know. Your purpose, it is when we start doing the right things of the spirit of God, it is when we know the reason why God created and allowed us in this world, it is when we pursue the purpose of God.

Once you have discovered your passion and developed your mission statement, it's time to use your imagination, throw off convention, and dream. Everything you do in your external world begins in your internal world. Allow yourself to dream and dream big. Don't think of the how; just let the ideas flow, creating a list of the ways you can use your passion. Once you have several ideas, narrow your list to two or three. Submit the ideas to the Lord and wait on him for confirmation.
the call of God is difficult to understand not all of us can achieve it! is for what you were made, God made you with a purpose in this life, you just have to find it and do it. my call is music, I knew that God called me to play music and many people came to the feet of Christ through my music, thank you for your post
people are in search of their purpose, or true calling, in life. And this is certainly a worthy endeavor ,knowing a sense of God's purpose for your life is fulfilling!
I want to encourage you to break out of your cage and step into your God-given adventure by pursuing your passion.
