Planted in the House of the Lord

The House of God is the home of God's essence. To be planted in the House of God intends to be brought into and built up in God's Presence. The Psalmist was speaking prophetically about the endowments to be appreciated by the devotee to Christ.

We are planted in the place of the Lord the day we get Jesus into our souls. This implies we are brought into the specific nearness of Almighty God. Furthermore, God is the One, similar to the Gardener of His own Garden, who does the planting!

The scripture says in Isa. 60:21, "Thy individuals also will be all upright: they will acquire the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I might be glorified." He calls the procedure "my planting." God Himself has planted us in His House. He has brought us into His essence.

This fact is so crucial to get it. The devotee to Christ has been brought into God's quality. There is no more mass of partition. The cloak of the sanctuary that isolated the Ark of the Covenant from whatever remains of the Temple was part start to finish when Jesus passed on. The route to God's essence was then open to man ceaselessly through the work of Christ!
